Our lab is looking for PhD students each year (starting in Spring or Fall) to work on challenging problems in machine learning (bayesian deep learning, active learning, etc), natural language processing (large language model, privacy protection, trustworthy learning, etc), and computer vision (video understanding, multimodal learning, robotic vision, medical imaging, etc). Requirements: (1) PhD students should be highly self-motivated with relevant research experience in related fields; (2) A MS degree in CS or related areas is required; (3) Solid background in mathematics and strong programming ability in C++/Python are desired; (4) The students must be familiar with deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch); (5) Having publication(s) in relevant areas is a must.
All qualified students will be financially supported with research or teaching assistantship.

Our lab is recruiting master students to conduct research. Students are requested to have significant prior experiences in related fields, e.g., taking relevant courses before. Usually, research and teaching assistantship will not be provided to master students, but qualified students will be recommended to be an instruction assistant (IA) in the department.

Our lab is looking for undergraduate students to participate in our research projects. The students have the opportunities to be trained with rich hands-on research experience via various projects in computer vision and artificial intelligence.
